The #FunandFulfilment category celebrates projects and organisations that are helping children build their strengths and skills, develop new hobbies and interests and find their passion.

Finalists
Cheltenham Town Premier Primary Stars
This free-to-schools project from Cheltenham Town Community Trust uses the appeal of professional football clubs to inspire children on the pitch, in the playground and in the classroom, developing important life skills such as resilience, diversity, self-esteem and fair play.
St Pauls Music Club
This partnership between Cheltenham Borough Homes and The Music Works encouraged young people to explore writing, performing and recording. They learnt different techniques of music making including singing, rapping, song-writing, playing instruments and creating ‘beats’ before laying down tracks in a professional studio.
Children’s Craft and Creativity
Previous NCLB awards winners Gloucestershire Libraries continued to deliver fun creative activities for children following lockdown, including craft sessions, theatre visits, drag queen story time, innovation labs, code clubs and the annual summer reading challenge.
