Introducing KAM Performing Arts CIC: Making the Arts Accessible for All

At KAM Performing Arts, we believe that every child deserves the chance to experience the magic of performing arts, regardless of background or financial circumstances. That’s why we have taken the step to become a Community Interest Company (CIC) and have signed up to the No Child Left Behind Community Agreement, ensuring our work directly benefits the community and supports those who need it most. As a not-for-profit organisation, our focus is on inclusivity, creativity, and accessibility – providing opportunities for children and adults to develop their skills, confidence, and passion for the performing arts.

Supporting No Child Left Behind (NCLB)

As part of our commitment to inclusivity, we have signed the NCLB Community Agreement and are donating 10 free spots for children aged 7-11 to attend our upcoming Wicked Easter Workshop through the NCLB Cheltenham initiative. This initiative ensures that children who face financial or social barriers can still experience the joy and benefits of the performing arts. Our workshops provide a safe, encouraging space for children to explore creativity, build confidence, and engage in the magic of theatre.

Led by Experienced Professionals

Led by Director Maria Allebone and Head Teacher Kelly-Anne Williams, we provide a welcoming space for young performers to thrive. With degrees in Dance and Drama, our team brings a wealth of expertise to every class, ensuring high-quality instruction and a nurturing environment for all students. Collectively, we have performed professionally around the world, attended Masters Performing Arts College and hold a Level 6 Diploma in Dance Teaching from Trinity College and a PTLLS Level 5 teaching qualification. Our experience spans teaching and lecturing in schools, universities, and the community, equipping us with the skills to inspire and support learners of all ages and abilities. Collectively, we hold extensive professional credentials and industry experience, making us well-equipped to deliver exceptional performing arts education.

How KAM Can Work With You

KAM Performing Arts CIC collaborates with a wide range of organisations, including schools, charities, and community programmes, to deliver engaging and impactful performing arts experiences. Whether it’s through after-school clubs, workshops, funded programmes, or bespoke creative projects, we are dedicated to using the arts to make a difference in the lives of children and young people.

  • Schools – Providing tailored performing arts workshops that align with curriculum goals, enhance confidence, and encourage creative expression. Our school programmes can support drama, music, dance, and wellbeing initiatives.
  • Charities & Community Organisations – Partnering with organisations that share our mission of accessibility, offering funded places in our workshops and classes to children who might not otherwise have the opportunity.
  • Local Community Programmes – Engaging with initiatives like No Child Left Behind (NCLB) Cheltenham to ensure that children from all backgrounds can participate in our events and programmes.
  • Youth Services & Councils – Collaborating with local youth services or councils to offer performing arts programmes that support young people’s personal and social development.
  • Special Educational Needs (SEN) Programmes – Partnering with organisations that support children with additional needs, providing inclusive and accessible performing arts sessions.
  • Healthcare & Wellbeing Programmes – Working with mental health and wellbeing initiatives to use drama, dance, and music as therapeutic tools for building confidence and emotional expression.
  • Corporate & Business Sponsorships – Engaging with businesses that want to support arts access through sponsorship or CSR initiatives.
