The NCLB Community Showcase is brought to you in partnership with Punchline-Gloucester.com.  NCLB is thankful for the ongoing support of Punchline, helping to spread the ethos of the NCLB to the business sector and beyond.

What is the NCLB Community Showcase?

The Community Showcase is an opportunity to bring together local professionals, businesses, community partners and dignitaries to expand their knowledge of the issues facing young people. Through a range of guest speakers, performances and activities, the event will take the audience on a journey, explainging the challenges facing children, young people and families in Cheltenham and how, by all pulling together, we can make Cheltenham a town where everybody has the opportunity to thrive!  

The Speakers

'Text reading ''Councillor Paul Baker - The Mayor of Cheltenham. The Mayor will be hosting the evening, introducing the fantastic guests and speaking about the work of NCLB.''
'Text reading '' Tony Larner - Executive Head teacher at The Federation of Gardners Lane & Oakwood Primary and The Aspire Foundation. Tony will be talking about the current challenges facing primary schools and the amazing work that is being done to support children in areas of deprivation.''
'Text reading '' The Rock - Expression of youth Voice. A group of teenagers take us through the challenges they are facing growing up in Cheltenham today.'
'Text reading ''Junior Smart OBE- Business Development Manager at St Giles Trust Junior will be discussing child exploitation in Cheltenham.''
'Text reading ''Councillor Victoria Atherstone - Cabinet Member for Safety and Communities. Councillor Atherstone will be discussing NCLB’s Year of Youth Action and Cheltenham Borough Council's plans to support young people in 2025.''
