On Sunday 20th August 2023, No Child Left Behind (NCLB) launched the first-ever NCLB World Cup themed ‘Party in the Park’ to celebrate the FIFA Women’s World Cup through sports, music and technology.
This family-friendly event, hosted by local performer Camilla Lewington, included inflatables, e-sports and much more! Some of the highlights were All About Fun’s Human Table Football, The Army’s E-Bus and The Music Works’ music bus.
Throughout the afternoon, the main stage hosted musical performances from Belmont School Choir, Finn Sutton, Riley Richards and local band ‘Refuge’ which provided the perfect opportunity for families to bring along a picnic and enjoy a free afternoon of live music.
The sponsors for the event were Renishaw, Cheltenham BID and Filmbankmedia. We are very grateful for their support, as well as that from John Lewis and Aston Villa FC who generously donated a variety of sports equipment, games and prizes for the event.
NCLB are excited to build on this event and make it bigger and better in years to come!
