Other NCLB projects
Flag Competition Spring 2022
You have the chance to have your own NCLB Flag design flown outside the Municipal Offices this May when we will be #CelebratingChildhood!
During the Covid-19 lockdown we teamed up with Cheltenham Education Partnership and IT Schools Africa to help children maintain their education from home by redistributing new and refurbished laptops and tablets to children who needed them.
International Women's Day 2021
To celebrate International Women’s Day 2021 (8 March), we asked children to tell us all about women who inspire them – women who have done incredible things, overcome challenges and who encourage you to aim high and reach your own goals.
Kindness at Christmas
Throughout December 2020 NCLB asked school children across our town to think about ‘Kindness at Christmas’. Their artwork, reflecting what kindness at Christmas looked like to them was displayed on the four-storey advent calendar projected on to the front of Cheltenham’s iconic Queen’s Hotel!
Find more how we are amplifying the views of children and young people to find out what matters to them and shape the way businesses and services are developed in our town.
Year of action
Cheltenham partners committed to a year of action in 2019, called No Child Left Behind.
Our aims were:
- to raise awareness
- to begin to close the gap, and
- to work together to make long term change
